Day 20 Monday 17 June

Well we knew where to go yesterday and we caught the bus to the Coach terminal with plenty of time to connect with our Tour at 9am. While standing waiting and doubting that we might be in the wrong place because there was no sign of our Rabbies Coach, we were looking at everyone thinking that they were waiting for the same tour. Well when 9am came the driver approached us and took us to the coach - we were the only ones on it!!! Much better than finding out they had cancelled!!
Our personal chauffered tour took us to the most famous Neolithic standing stone circle - Stonehenge.
We explored this mystical place at arms length - it is not as big as I thought! - before moving on to the Dorset Coast and arriving in Lulworth. This a beautiful little village on the Jurassic coast where we had lunch and then walked to Durdle Door along a very steep and long path to be picked up by our chauffeur again and transferred to the ancient Roman fortified city of Exeter.
Our Hotel, St Olaves was built in 1694 and improved in 1811 as a private home before becoming a Rectory and finally a Hotel.
The funny part is it is 3 storeys and no lifts  and the stairways are very narrow. We, of course, were on the 3rd floor and I staggered up with 2 suitcases as no help was available.
